On April 17, 2025, SINGA Bordeaux celebrated its third anniversary. Three years marked by tangible actions, measurable outcomes, and ongoing commitment to inclusion. Between the pitch session of cohort 3, the introduction of cohort 4, the engaged performance “DILEMA,” and collective activities, the celebration brought together talents, stories, and projects — all united by a shared vision of a more inclusive and equitable future.

3 Years of Connection, Projects, and Positive Impact

SINGA Bordeaux weaves bonds between newcomers and locals around a shared goal: accelerating the inclusion of newly arrived individuals, fostering cooperation, and offering a fairer and more positive perspective on migration.

Since its creation in 2022, SINGA Bordeaux has:

  • Supported 93 participants across its pre-incubation, incubation, and post-incubation programs, representing 84 unique projects.
  • Over 65% of participants are women, and more than 75% are newcomers. In 2025, 80% of applicants to cohort 4 are women — in a context where 1 in 2 women with a migration background becomes an entrepreneur out of necessity, generating employment.
  • Hosted over 350 intercultural events, drawing nearly 3,500 participants (public events, festivals, co-creation workshops, trainings, debates, etc.).

These figures remind us: when inclusion and welcome conditions are effective, initiatives thrive, communities grow stronger, and regions are enriched.

Cohort 3 Pitches: Committed SINGA Ambassadors

A highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the pitch session from cohort 3, where ten entrepreneurs shared their journeys and ambitions. During this moving evening, we celebrated the cohort 3 members:

  • Arina Moiseeva, Olga Andropova, Gorbach Pro, Olena Badun, Salaam Rashid, Denghat Kaya, Sandra Merlet, Lola Kolenc, Elmir Guliev, Beverly Leung Straub.

Each of them is now a SINGA ambassador, ready to keep promoting the values of living together and collective action.

A Promising New Generation: Welcome Cohort 4!

SINGA Bordeaux also proudly introduced cohort 4 — thirteen unique journeys, thirteen stories, one shared momentum: projects that drive change.

Some inspiring profiles:

  • Lina Azizi: former project coordinator in Afghanistan, now working to fight the isolation of refugee women in France.
  • Thierry Léopold Kabou: from Senegal to Bordeaux, developing AI to simplify administrative procedures for newcomers.
  • Madeleine Farah & Samir Khouzam: former doctor and developer, now innovating in postpartum e-health and food.
  • Svetlana Filip: lawyer turned creator of solid perfumes representing 12 countries.
  • Anastasia Minchenko: psychologist turned developer, designing a digital wellness tool.
  • Anastasia Abdellatif: launching a premium online flower arrangement store with Korean-inspired packaging.
  • Maryna Oksiuzova: becoming a wedding and family photographer, growing her website and Instagram presence.
  • Tatiana Grajdean: building her lash extension brand and multilingual training, aiming for Qualiopi certification.
  • Neima Abdoul-Razak: launching ISSA, a natural cosmetics brand inspired by Djiboutian beauty rituals.
  • Niolys Camacho: preparing a family and children’s event planning business combining entertainment, decor, and games.
  • Jérémie Décaillet: developing a school outreach program about migration, combining exhibits, testimonials, and sponsored walks.

Each project represents a bridge between migration experiences and local entrepreneurial dynamics.

DILEMA: An Engaged Performance to Question and Connect

The evening wouldn’t have been complete without a moment of reflection brought by “DILEMA”, a performance by The Brick Project. Blending theatre, physical performance, and immersive storytelling, “DILEMA” invites audiences to explore ecological transitions, migration, and identity challenges of our time.

No one left indifferent — “DILEMA” opened a collective space for reflection on today’s issues. Around the show, the atmosphere was festive and creative: a symbolic piñata, a showroom, hands-on workshops, homemade dishes, and handcrafted graduation caps…

All imagined collectively, with the energy of artists, chefs, volunteers, partners, and the SINGA community.

3 Years Behind Us, a Future to Shape Together

In three years, SINGA Bordeaux has helped spark concrete projects and strengthen the local social fabric.

“After three years of initiatives, successes, and shared moments, we know there’s still much to do. But one thing is certain: the future will be built by those who dare to dream it differently.”
— Ksenia Skorik, Director of SINGA Bordeaux

For three years, SINGA Bordeaux has helped shape meaningful initiatives and deepen connections between territories and people. This collective work is made possible thanks to the commitment of coaches, mentors, trainers, volunteers, and partners who bring life to the program every day.

SINGA Bordeaux receives support from many institutional and private partners: Bpifrance, THSN by Generali, Accor, Bordeaux Métropole, the DDETS and Préfecture of Gironde, Fondation Entreprendre, Crédit Mutuel, Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region, France Travail, BNP Paribas, among others.

Three years of impactful projects, connections, and purpose-driven initiatives… and a momentum that keeps growing!
