For over 10 years, SINGA has championed a simple yet powerful belief: societies grow stronger when every individual, no matter where they come from, can find their place and thrive.
While some focus on dividing, SINGA focuses on connecting—bridging the gap between newcomers and locals to promote inclusion and reshape views on migration. The inclusion of newcomers is a benefit to all.
Founded in 2012, SINGA is an international organization dedicated to accelerating the inclusion of newcomers (refugees, asylum seekers) to create societies that are more united, creative, and prosperous. Today, SINGA connects over 80,000 members across Europe and North America, spanning 7 countries and 17 cities.
Every day, SINGA enables thousands of people to meet and collaborate across 4 main programs:
members of the SINGA community worldwide.
entrepreneurs supported (50% women).
of newcomers report feeling more confident thanks to SINGA.
of locals report a positive shift in their views on migration.
Over the last decade, forced displacement has doubled, now affecting 1% of the global population. International migration has surged by 60% in 30 years. With migration increasing—especially due to climate change—we must adopt inclusive approaches.
It’s time to stop viewing migration as a problem or a temporary crisis and instead see it as a structural opportunity. Studies from the UNHCR, OECD, and World Bank agree that migration benefits host countries. Newcomers bring experiences, skills, and perspectives that spark creativity, innovation, and solutions.
At SINGA, we work to show that an inclusive society is a stronger society. Many companies, coalitions, and thousands of citizens already stand with us. But for lasting change, we need clear support from European institutions and governments. We believe that this shift relies on citizen mobilization, and we are committed to scaling up our impact to build a society that’s both creative and inclusive. Join us!
What if the world embraced a more mobile humanity, responsive to environmental and social shifts? What if every global citizen were not confined to a single nationality, but had a plural, dynamic identity? What if we recognized the experiences, knowledge, and talents of every individual?
