On November 19, ten entrepreneurs supported by SINGA took the stage to share their projects, their choices, their doubts, and their ambitions, as well as what it means to launch a business when one sometimes also has to rebuild a life elsewhere.
This 2025 edition highlighted an essential truth: entrepreneurial talent exists everywhere. What changes, however, are the conditions of access to networks, funding, know-how, and opportunities. This is precisely where SINGA takes action: by building bridges and opening doors.
Following a powerful first edition in Zurich in September, SINGA Switzerland made a stop in Geneva to spotlight entrepreneurs from all backgrounds and celebrate their creativity and resilience.
On stage, there were no polished “success stories.” Instead, the audience heard honest narratives about transitions, obstacles, momentum, and that decisive moment when an idea begins to take shape because someone, somewhere, says: “We’ll figure it out.”
Throughout the evening, the entrepreneurs presented a wide range of initiatives, all connected by a shared thread: responding to real needs and creating value locally, here in Geneva. Projects ranged from craftsmanship and essential services to responsible fashion, art, well-being, and cultural innovation.
Beyond the diversity of sectors, one message resonated repeatedly: entrepreneurship should not depend on a passport, an initial network, or mastery of unspoken codes. When ecosystems truly open up, ideas circulate more freely and the entire territory benefits.
The evening also brought together Geneva’s entrepreneurial ecosystem: mentors, experts, institutional partners, and established entrepreneurs. It was a moment to support project leaders, share perspectives, and spark new collaborations.
Partners’ contributions underscored a simple yet strategic challenge: building an environment where every talent can express itself, contribute to the local economy, and envision a future. Because inclusion is not a slogan, it is a condition for collective success.
The evening concluded with an oriental aperitif prepared by Babsimsim, a project led by a SINGA alumni. A convivial moment that reflected SINGA’s values: encounters that extend beyond the stage, conversations that continue, and connections that take root.
SINGA Stories Geneva 2025 reaffirmed the strength of exile journeys, because they are part of our contemporary reality, and because entrepreneurship, to be fair and dynamic, must be accessible to everyone.
