November 4, 2025 — We no longer have a choice.
At a time when funding is collapsing and hate speech and exclusion are spreading across Europe, SINGA is in danger: one-third of our programs are at risk of disappearing.
We are launching a large-scale crowdfunding campaign on Ulule: “Defend SINGA: Building Bridges, Not Walls.”
Across the world, democracy is retreating. In Europe, the far right is rising and imposing its ideas. On every issue, it targets exiled people — stigmatizing them, multiplying barriers to their inclusion, and attacking organizations like SINGA that support them.
In France and across Europe, diversity, inclusion, and solidarity are under attack.
The work of associations like SINGA — which defend inclusion every day — is being discredited, their actions monitored, and their teams and volunteers threatened.
In France, the government has abruptly and without warning cut public funding, putting SINGA and other similar organizations at risk — even though they are the ones ensuring that France upholds its international commitments on inclusion.
Under pressure from Donald Trump and his allies, several European and American foundations — long-time partners of SINGA — have withdrawn. Not because our projects have lost relevance (quite the opposite — needs are exploding), but because they are now deemed “too sensitive,” “too inclusive,” “too intercultural,” or “too anti-racist.”
While many of our partners continue to stand strong, the impact on SINGA has been direct and brutal: in just a few weeks, and despite over 80% of our funding being private, our international support has fallen by more than 30%.
By 2026, one-third of our activities could disappear. That means fewer talents supported, fewer jobs created, fewer connections built… and in return: more prejudice and more division.
In 10 years, SINGA has brought together more than 80,000 local and exiled people and supported nearly 20,000 talents in developing their projects — leading to the creation of over 400 businesses and associations, half of which create jobs within their first six months.
At the same time, our sociocultural activities bring together tens of thousands of people every year: 67% of exiled participants regain confidence, and 66% of locals change their perception of migration.

Helping talented people from all over the world find their place, start a business, or secure a job that matches their skills.
Opening peer-to-peer spaces where locals and exiled people meet, cook, create, play, laugh… and break down prejudice.
Giving a voice to those who experience migration firsthand — because the issue cannot be understood without the perspective of those most affected.
And because solidarity itself is under attack today, your donation is also a clear message: we will not give in.
By supporting the campaign, you’ll receive thoughtful and stylish rewards!
